The future hall of famer (Inoue) pulls off a KO over Fulton in a highly anticipated match that had a lot of boxings best buzzing about his legitimacy. Those questions were answered as Naoya Inoue defeated Stephen Fulton in a unification match between two fighters that are at the top of their game.

Stephen was not just some bum off the street, he was a world champion but still Fulton had some concerns. He claimed Inoue was stacking his tape on his fist to make a hard shell and essentially cheat. The sport of boxing has an inconsistency with the rules in different places when it comes to the taping of the hand. Fulton and his team disagree with how much he's been putting for his fights and expressed their concerns at the conference.

Since then the boxing world has gone back and fourth about this many say that it's perfectly legal. Fans are torn now saying Fulton was making excuses before the fight. At any rate he definitely showed his worth in their match but the P4P king was just too much in the end. You could tell Naoya respected Fulton and took his time during the fight building his confidence with every step. Inoue sends Fulton to the canvas and that's all she wrote. Do you think it was the tape on the fists?
